How Can I Get Closer to God?

어떻게 하면 하나님께 더 가까이 갈 수 있습니까?
 

You may want to improve your relationship with God.

여러분은 하나님과의 관계를 개선하고 싶을 것입니다.

Or you might want to overcome negative patterns you see in your life which are destroying you and your relationships, and you want a better quality life.

또는 자신과 관계를 파괴하는 부정적인 패턴을 극복하고 더 나은 삶을 원할 수도 있습니다.

Or, maybe you want to be sure that you will go to heaven when you die.

아니면 죽을 때 천국에 가고 싶을 수도 있습니다.

The wonderful thing is, you can! Here’s how…

여러분은 놀라운 일을 할 수 있습니다! 방법은 다음과 같습니다.

The Bible teaches that God hungers to share His love with you.

성경은 하나님이 여러분과 여러분의 사랑을 나누기를 갈망한다고 가르칩니다.

In the Garden of Eden, God walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day.

에덴동산에서 하나님은 그날의 서늘한 날 아담과 이브와 함께 걸으며 이야기하셨습니다.

That is what God wants to do with each of us, also.

그것이 하나님께서 우리 각자에게 하시길 원하시는 것입니다.

He yearns to be able to share His love with us and have us share our hearts with Him on a daily basis.

그분은 그분의 사랑을 우리와 나누고 매일 우리의 마음을 그분과 나눌 수 있기를 갈망합니다.

As our Creator and Sustainer, He knows what we need even more than we do, and He answers our questions even before we ask.

우리의 창조주이자 지지자인 그분은 우리가 하는 것보다 우리에게 필요한 것이 무엇인지 더 알고 계시며, 우리가 묻기도 전에 우리의 질문에 대답해 주십니다.

God’s heart was broken when sin entered into Adam and Eve’s lives and stole away that relationship He had with them.

죄가 아담과 하와의 삶에 들어와서 그분과 그들과의 관계를 빼앗아 갔을 때 하나님의 마음은 상했습니다.

The enemy tempted Adam and Eve to live like gods themselves, rather than enjoy God’s life through them.

원수는 아담과 하와를 통해 하나님의 생명을 누리지 않고 신들처럼 살도록 유혹했습니다.

In choosing to look to self, rather than looking beyond to the wonderful Giver of Life, Adam and Eve cut off much of the flow of God within them.

아담과 하와는 놀라운 생명을 주신 분을 보기보다 자신을 보기로 선택했을 때 그들 안에 있는 하나님의 흐름을 많이 차단했습니다.

So God sent His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, in the form of a man to remove the sin which separated mankind’s heart from the heart of God.

그래서 하나님께서는 인류의 마음을 하나님의 마음에서 분리시킨 죄를 없애기 위해 그의 아들 나사렛 예수를 사람의 모습으로 보내셨습니다.

By entering the world as a man, God was able to take the sins of the entire world upon His own shoulders and pay the penalty of this separation by allowing His Son, Jesus Christ, to be separated from Him for a moment of time.

사람으로 세상에 들어오심으로써 하나님은 자신의 어깨에 온 세상의 죄를 짊어지고 그의 아들 예수 그리스도가 잠시 동안 그분과 분리되게 함으로써 이 분리의 형벌을 지불하셨습니다.
 

That is why Jesus cried out while dying on the cross, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

그래서 예수님은 십자가에서 죽으시면서 “나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 왜 나를 버리셨습니까?”라고 외치셨습니다.

However, in forsaking His Son in that moment, God was restoring the opportunity for you and me to return to the experience of the Garden of Eden and once again have fellowship with Almighty God.

그러나 그 순간 아들을 버리시면서 하나님께서는 당신과 저가 에덴동산 체험으로 돌아가 다시 전능하신 하나님과 교제 할 수 있는 기회를 회복하고 계십니다.

Once again we could walk with Him in the cool of the day and share our lives with Him and have God share His life with us.

다시 한번 우리는 그날의 서늘한 날에 그분과 함께 걸을 수 있고 우리의 삶을 그분과 함께 나누고 하나님이 그분의 삶을 우리와 함께 나누도록 할 수 있습니다.

Our relationship with God can be restored by honoring Jesus as Lord and receiving the sacrifice of Jesus’ life for our sins.

우리와 하나님의 관계는 예수님을 주님으로 공경하고 우리 죄를 위해 예수님의 생명을 희생 함으로써 회복될 수 있습니다. (다음에 계속 연재 됩니다).
